Acer day PH wants you to 'be cool everyday
ACER Day in the Philippines kicked off at the Glorietta Activity Center last August 7 with fun activities and live performances from bands and DJs.
The event is in line with Acer’s first annual and global brand day celebration that will occur on every 3rd day of August.
This year’s theme, “Be Cool Everyday”, was embodied by the company’s AeroBlade™ 3D Fan, which has the world’s thinnest fan metal blade.
Five activity stations were placed on the activity area, namely: “Grand Ball Pit Tower”, featuring an inflated climbing course; “Volleycool”, which turns the ball pit area into a volleyball arena for four players; “Cool Runnings”, a race game that requires a player to obtain the most balls; “Plunge into Coolness” which makes a volunteer drop into a ball pool by hitting a target and; “Jumpstart to Coolness”, which allows a person to take a selfie while he falls backward on a pool of white balls.
Acer also showcased exciting performances from the UP Pep Squad, Kwjan, Basti Artadi and DJs Euric and Nina, while the audience felt at home in the ball pit area.
Aside from the event, Acer also created an Acer Day website, wherein customers can log in everyday in order to complete 11 daily challenges such as memory puzzles and friend-sharing games.
These challenges allow consumers to acquire “Cool Points” to be converted into raffle tickets. Prizes to be won are five Acer Swift 7, one Acer Spin 1, and three Predator Helios 300.
“What we really want is to communicate to our consumers about the latest technologies and products that Acer has to offer,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Sales and Marketing Director for Acer PH. “We wanted to breathe new life to the brand and be able to showcase that to our customers.”
Acer Day is celebrated in 13 other countries such as China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam.
