AirAsia Celebrates Asean Day With Low Fares From Only RM10

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Bernama) — AirAsia is offering promotional fares, beginning from RM10, to Asean destinations in conjunction with Asean Day tomorrow.

The one-way base fare seats, excludes airport taxes, fees and other optional services and guests will be able to explore destinations in all 10 Asean nations – Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, AirAsia said in a statement.

At the same time, guests can also take advantage of low fares to destinations beyond Asean on AirAsia and AirAsia X’s network covering North Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Africa.

Those flying AirAsia X can also upgrade to the award-winning Premium Flatbed seat – which offers unparalleled comfort in the low-cost cabin segment on long-haul flights – from only RM698, one-way base fare seats excluding airport taxes, fees and other optional services.

The promo fares can be booked from Aug 8, 2016 to Aug 14, 2016 for travel between Aug 9, 2016 and April 6, 2017.

They are applicable on AirAsia flights operated by AirAsia Malaysia , AirAsia Thailand, AirAsia Indonesia, AirAsia Philippines, Malaysia AirAsia X, Thai AirAsia X and Indonesia AirAsia X.

AirAsia Group Chief Executive Officer Tony Fernandes said:”AirAsia is proud to be the only airline that flies direct to all 10 Asean nations.

Holders of the AirAsia Asean Pass and AirAsia Asean Pass+ can enjoy flights at a fixed rate on more than 120 routes across Asean.

Acting like a single currency, the pass eliminates the hassle of juggling different foreign exchange rates as flights are valued according to credits, allowing guests to be creative in planning their ideal trip through the region.
