Cambodia Nominates New Ambassadors to Different Countries

AKP Phnom Penh, December 30, 2016 –

His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has recently signed a Royal Decree to nominate new ambassadors to different countries.

H.E. Long Visalo, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC) was nominated as the new Ambassador of Cambodia to Thailand, while H.E. Ms. Soeung Rathchavy, who is also a Secretary of State of MFA-IC, will be the Ambassador to United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Netherland, Ethiopia, and Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the African Union based in London.

Mr. Sin Bunthoeun was appointed as Ambassador to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea; Mrs. Touch Sopharoth as Ambassador to Germany, Slovenia, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, and Hungary based in Berlin; Mr. Khuon Phon Ratanak as Ambassador to Indonesia; Mr. Nguon Sokveng as Ambassador to Singapore; and Mr. Cheng Manith as Ambassador to Lao PDR.
