Chelsea Star Nemanja Matic’s Move to Manchester United Held up Over Bonus Payment Squabble
According to reports, Chelsea’s midfielder Nemanja Matic is most likely to move to rival club Manchester United for £50million, however, it is believed that deal has been delayed due to an argument over bonus payments.
Reports suggest that no move will be finalised until the clubs sort out extra payments United will have to make to the Premier League champions, based on their results and the number of games played by the Serbia international.

However, United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing Matic to Old Trafford as he is a big fan of the 28-year-old from their days working together at Stamford Bridge and wants him as his holding midfielder.
Chelsea are willing to offload the Serbian, having signed Tiemoue Bakayoko as a replacement for the two-time title winner this summer. Matic did not even travel with the rest of his Chelsea team-mates on their pre-season tour of the Far East and was seen training with injured pair Eden Hazard and Pedro last week while the rest of the squad were in Singapore.
Matic would become United’s third signing after adding Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku this summer and his arrival will also likely lead to the departure of Marouane Fellaini, who is set to join Galatasaray.
