MUMBAI: Creative Virtual, a global leader in customer and employee engagement, knowledge management and self-service solutions, is the winner of the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: Innovation 2017. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious business award for British companies. It recognises UK businesses for outstanding commercial success in four categories, including Innovation.

Creative Virtual is headquartered in the United Kingdom with operations in the United States, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. The India operations is headed by Shantanu Purandare as the executive director.

“Receiving the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is an incredible and humbling honour for the entire Creative Virtual team as well as a wonderful recognition of the innovation we deliver to our customers every day,” says Creative Virtual founder & CEO Chris Ezekiel. “When I first founded the company in London’s East End over 13 years ago, we were very much a pioneer in our field, and I could only dream of one day leading a successful, innovative and global company being recognised in such a prestigious way.”

The Innovation Award has been made to Creative Virtual for V-Person™, virtual agent technology, and V-Portal™, a knowledge management platform. These technologies allow global enterprises to engage in 1:1 virtual conversations with customers in any language. V-Portal brings together data from across the client company; internal databases, Customer Relationship Management software, forums, social media and more into one central control point.

This unique platform allows for the creation of relevant content that can be customised based on a set of rules and decision trees and then made accessible to customers and employees through natural language virtual agents. The technology allows brands to deploy information to their customers across the web, mobile and social channels as well as to support and train live chat and contact centre agents.

V-Person virtual agents are highly customisable and can be integrated with personalised account information, site search, speech technology and existing backend systems. Clients see increases in customer satisfaction using the tool, and for end users the natural language conversations make websites easier to use. Over the last two years, profit for the company has grown 200% per year.

“I am grateful to the Queen for acknowledging Creative Virtual’s innovation and for the amazing work she does to inspire British entrepreneurs like myself to take our companies global,” says Chris. “Her Majesty has always been, and continues to be, a great ambassador and strong advocate for British companies.”

As a winner of the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: Innovation 2017, Creative Virtual will be presented with a crystal bowl and Grant of Appointment by a Royal representative during an upcoming award ceremony. Two representatives from the company are also invited to attend a reception hosted by Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace later in the year.
