Former Minister and TDP MLC Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy met Director-General of Police (DGP) N. Sambasiva Rao here on Friday seeking action against Sarvepalli MLA and YSR Congress Nellore district president Kakani Govardhan Reddy for allegedly making false allegations against him and his family.

The MLC in his complaint alleged that Mr. Govardhan Reddy created fake documents against him and accused him of amassing illegal assets, worth about Rs. 1,000 crore, in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong and was threatening his family.

“The MLA created fake documents by resorting to forgery and cyber crime. I met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and explained the situation. The DGP assured to probe the documents purportedly obtained from different foreign banks,” Mr. Chandramohan Reddy told The Hindu.

The MLC lodged a complaint with the Nellore Rural police a couple of days ago, and sought action against the MLA for making baseless allegations against him.
