7. Maintain your glow with Vitamin C

The reputation of Vitamin C as immunity booster and beating colds and flu is well documented. But did you known it is also an antioxidant that can address not just diseases but ageing?

According to Bewell-C, a non-acidic Vitamin C supplement, antioxidants help destroy free radicals, which can be found in cigarette smoke, UV rays, stress, and pollution (reactive oxygen) or from excessive alcohol consumption and intake of carbohydrates (reactive carbonyl). They make the skin sag, causes fine lines and dark, discolored brown spots.

Antioxidants destroy free radicals and keep wrinkles and skin dryness at bay. It also helps the body produce enough collagen for firm and toned skin.
