Police at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, seized on Friday a suitcase containing lobster seeds worth around Rp 1.6 billion (US$118,168), which they said were about to be smuggled to Singapore.

Soekarno-Hatta Police chief Sr. Comr. Herry Sumarji said the case was carried by a man identified only as SNA.

“Police officers became suspicious about the perpetrator’s actions, and searched the man’s luggage and found the [lobster] seeds inside,” Herry said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Through interrogation the police learned that it was the fifth time SNA had conducted such an operation. SNA was paid Rp 5 million every time he transported seeds to Singapore.
