International Immunotherapy Meeting Begins in Cuba

Havana, Oct 17 (Prensa Latina) The Hotel Nacional de Cuba will host, from today until next Friday, the 12th International Immunotherapy Meeting 2016, organized by, among other instirutions, the Center for Molecular Immunology and the Latin American Association of Immunology.
The event will feature presentations by leading practitioners of the specialty in Cuba, as well as presentations from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, Spain, France and Singapore, among other nations.

Immunotherapy 2016 is the continuation of a series of meetings that for two decades now have been held in Havana with the aim of promoting discussions on how to establish the relations between basic science and clinical immunotherapy.

The presentations will address topics such as the regulation of the immune system, the immunology of tumors and inflammatory disorders, as well as updates on experimental and clinical immunotherapy for cancer treatment.

The confernece will also be sponsored by the National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology and the Cuban Society of Immunology.
