Man Arrested For Murder At Block 165a Teck Whye Crescent


The Police have arrested a 48-year-old suspect in connection with the case of Murder at the roadside of Block 165A Teck Whye Crescent on 16 August 2017.

On 16 August 2017 at about 4.42am, the Police received a call requesting for assistance at the roadside of Block 165A Teck Whye Crescent. Upon arrival, a 35-year-old man was found lying motionless at the said location and he was pronounced dead at scene at about 4.55am.

Upon receipt of the report, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Jurong Police Division responded immediately and commenced investigation. The identity of the suspect was established and he was arrested on the same day at about 10.15am. Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident is believed to have arisen from a dispute between the deceased and the suspect.
