No self-service kiosks in the works: Singapore Pools (The Straits Times)
There are currently no concrete plans for any self-service kiosks at Singapore Pools (“Don’t make it easier to gamble” by Mr James Wong Joo Sin; Wednesday, and “Let punters queue to place bets” by Mr Elliot Taylor Hong, Forum Online; Tuesday).
The use of self-service solutions is a topic that the company has thought about for several years.
We do not have plans to set up unmanned and unsupervised kiosks, as done overseas, as mentioned by the writers.
Singapore Pools’ operations are benchmarked against international best practices under the World Lottery Association’s Responsible Gaming Framework, in which we attained the highest level of certification.
