OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW GEYLANG NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICE CENTRE
The new Geylang Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) was officially opened by Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Mountbatten SMC Mr Lim Biow Chuan on 30 November 2019. Geylang NPC was relocated from 132 Payer Lebar Road to its current location at 1 Cassia Link and commenced operations on 9 October 2019.
The new Geylang NPC will better serve the needs of the residents and businesses, especially the growing HDB population around Cassia Link and the increase in commercial developments at Paya Lebar Central.
As part of Singapore Police Force’s transformation journey, the new Geylang NPC is also equipped with redesigned workflow processes and tech-enabled systems to enhance the provision of policing services to the public (see Annex for further details). The new Geylang NPC is the second NPC to introduce these new enhanced features and services. The first NPC was Woodlands West NPC. These changes allow Police officers to deliver more efficient services to members of the public.

The Found Property Drop Box is available at the new Geylang NPC, that allows members of the public to conveniently register and hand over found properties to the Police, without the need for them to see an officer.
