A pillion passenger has taken a horrifying 20-metre flight through the air in a motorcycle crash on a Singapore highway.

Monday’s incident, captured on a nearby vehicle’s dash cam, firstly captures the motorcycle closing at high speed from the rear and swerving past a slower car.

It appears the motorcyclist did not realise a vehicle was stopped on the inside lane and the machine impacts the boot at high speed launching the pillion passenger on a sickening flight over the car and onto the motorway.
