Dhaka: Bangladesh Army Sporting Club Limited made a winning start in the Women's Football League, defeating Bangladesh Police Football Club by 2-0 at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tanima Biswas was pivotal in securing the victory for Army SC, scoring the first goal in the 39th minute. She further cemented the win by doubling the lead with a second goal in the 69th minute.
Despite efforts from Police FC to stage a comeback, they were unable to score throughout the match, resulting in a clean sheet for Army SC.
