Cambodia Reassures Safety and Security for Tourists Amidst Regional Ceasefire


Phnom penh: The Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia has firmly reassured that Cambodia remains entirely safe and secure for tourism and travel through international connected flights and many land border crossing points. Acknowledging a ceasefire agreement has officially come into force, fully restoring peace and stability in all areas of the Kingdom, including those previously affected by the recent border incident near Preah Vihear Temple, all breathtaking tourist sites, such as the World Heritage Angkor Wat Temple and the vibrant capital Phnom Penh, remain completely safe and accessible.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Royal Government of Cambodia has taken all necessary measures to ensure the safety and protection of tourists, with national and local authorities closely monitoring the situation and maintaining stability throughout the country. The Ministry of Tourism highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to peace, security, cultural respect, and hospitality, emphasizing that tourism is a pillar of national pride and international friendship.



Tourists are encouraged to continue their journeys across Cambodia, enjoying its rich heritage, warm hospitality, and stunning landscapes with full confidence in their safety and well-being. The Ministry assures that the safety and well-being of all tourists are and will always be the highest priority, inviting travelers to experience the country’s diverse attractions, including the white sand beaches of Preah Sihanouk province and the serene coastal provinces of Kampot and Kep.
