Cambodian Prime Minister Meets Vietnamese Minister of Public Security in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh: The Cambodian Prime Minister hosted a courtesy meeting at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh with visiting Vietnam's Minister of Public Security H.E. Senior Lt. Gen. Luong Tam Quang.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet expressed gratitude to the Vietnamese Minister for his visit to Cambodia to participate in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the Cambodian National Police. The anniversary marks the period from May 16, 1945, to May 16, 2025.

The Cambodian Prime Minister acknowledged the cooperation between the Cambodian Ministry of Interior and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security. He thanked the Vietnamese ministry for its ongoing support in training and capacity building for the Cambodian police force.

H.E. Luong Tam Quang expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet. He highlighted the cooperation between the two ministries as a key element in strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia. Furthermore, he conveyed his commitment to continue enhancing the collaboration with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior, aiming to contribute to the security and stability of both nations.
