Phnom Penh: Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin has demonstrated support and promoted Walk Street in Phnom Penh to Chinese citizens.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, on May 24, H.E. Ambassador Wang Wenbin, alongside H.E. Huot Hak, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, attended a public Cambodia-China cultural performance. This event marked the official opening ceremony of the ‘Cambodia-China Tourism Year 2025’ at Walk Street, located along the riverside near Chaktomuk River in Phnom Penh.
During the occasion, the Ambassador and Minister took the opportunity to interact with local vendors, Cambodian citizens, and international tourists who were enjoying Walk Street. This area is known as a multicultural space with a fresh atmosphere, benefiting from the cool and clean breeze of the Chaktomuk River.
The Ministry of Tourism highlighted in a news release that the event’s joyful and friendly environment symbolized the strong friendship between Cambodia and China.
