Phnom Penh: Phnom Penh Crown clinched the title of the 2024-2025 Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen Cup after a 2-1 victory over the previous champion Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng in the final match held on the night of May 25, 2025, at Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Phnom Penh Crown opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a goal by Long Phearath. In the second half, Nhean Susidan equalised for Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng in the 62nd minute. However, the decisive goal came in the 78th minute from Nieto Rondon Rafael Andres, securing the championship for Phnom Penh Crown.
In the third-place playoff, Boeung Ket defeated Visakha with a convincing 3-0 win.
As champions, Phnom Penh Crown received the trophy and a cash prize of 150 million Riel (4,000 Riel equal to a U.S. dollar). The runner-up, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, earned 100 million Riel, while Boeung Ket, in third place, was awarded 70 million Riel. Visakha received the Fair Play Award along with a prize of 10 million Riel.
Individual awards were also presented: the Golden Boot for Sieng Chanthea (Boeung Ket), Best Player of the Tournament for Mat Norun (Boeung Ket), Golden Glove for Oum Vichet (Phnom Penh Crown), Best Coach for Oleg Starynskyi (Phnom Penh Crown), and Best Referee Team-each receiving 5 million Riel, except the referee team which received 8 million Riel.
