Vietnam shipped an estimated 24.14 billion USD worth of agro-forestry-fishery products overseas during January-May, up 21% against the same time last year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). The sector enjoyed a trade surplus of some 6.53 billion USD, a year-on-year surge of 64.5%. The export of the items posted growth, with revenues of agricultural products rising 27.7% to 13.11 billion USD, forestry 22.7% to 6.58 billion USD, fishery 3.6% to 3.5 billion USD, and husbandry 5.6% to 199 million USD.
