Phnom penh: Cambodia and United States have commended the fruitful outcomes of the cooperation between their security agencies in combating transnational crimes. ‘Just had a telephone call with Mr. Kash Patel, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States. We highly appreciate the fruitful results of the longstanding cooperation between Cambodia’s security agencies and the FBI in preventing and combating transnational crimes such as human trafficking, drug trafficking, homicide, extortion, financial crimes, and cyber scams,’ said Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet in a social media post this evening.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, both nations have agreed to continue strengthening the cooperation between Cambodia’s security institutions and the FBI. The aim is to maintain security and safety for both peoples and countries.
