CA’s Special Assistant Sayedur Rahman Resigns


Dhaka: Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant on Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman has resigned. A notification from the Cabinet Division announced that the President has accepted his resignation, although it did not specify the reasons behind his decision to step down.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification stated that the President accepted the resignation of Special Assistant Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman, who served with executive powers equivalent to a State Minister in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the interim government of Bangladesh. Sayedur Rahman was appointed as Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on November 10, 2024, and was concurrently granted executive authority over the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
