People’s Democratic Party Campaigns in Nakhon Sawan and Chiang Mai to Address Economic Issues


Nakhon sawan: The People’s Democratic Party is actively campaigning in Nakhon Sawan and Chiang Mai, aiming to garner public support to tackle economic challenges, combat illicit capital, and enhance the quality of life for citizens. Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn and Rakchanok Srinok, key figures of the People’s Party, are leading this initiative by engaging directly with the community.



According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Viroj Lakkhanaadisorn, along with Saniwar Buaban and other candidates for Member of Parliament under the list system, campaigned at Chum Saeng Municipal Fresh Market and Thap Krit Market in Nakhon Sawan Province. The People’s Party has fielded candidates across all six constituencies in the province, with Kristhiran Lerturitphakdi in Constituency 1, Pisit Niamsum in Constituency 2, Yutthakan Pholsaen in Constituency 3, Natthanan Porpanichkorn in Constituency 4, Nopsit Thitipattanawut in Constituency 5, and Sapolcheth Konchanthet in Constituency 6. The campaign was met with enthusiasm from the public, with Mr. Viroj addressing the threats posed by illicit activities and urging citizens to vote, highlighting the absence of Senate involvement in selecting the Prime Minister this time.



Mr. Viroj also discussed the economic struggles faced by the populace, emphasizing the need for farmers to engage in trade and improve their livelihoods to boost the economy. He noted the concerns of vendors in Chum Saeng market about the sluggish economy and difficulty in selling goods due to grey capital and low-priced foreign goods. He assured that the People’s Party is committed to curbing these issues to support domestic businesses.



In Chiang Mai, Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, Phutthita Chaiyanan, and Natthapol Tovichakchaikul campaigned at Mae Jo Fresh Market. The People’s Party has candidates in all ten constituencies in Chiang Mai, including Petcharat Maichomphu in Constituency 1 and others throughout the region. During the campaign, Rakchanok and Phutthita listened to vendor concerns and encouraged voting. They addressed issues like economic hardship and constitutional amendments, stressing the party’s dedication to solving national problems despite not yet forming a government.



Ms. Rakchanok concluded by reiterating the People’s Party’s commitment to resolving citizens’ issues and sought public support to implement solutions to the country’s challenges in the future.
