SINGAPORE, Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX), declined by 20.6 percent year on year, in Dec, 2022, following the revised 14.7 percent decline in Nov, Enterprise Singapore, a government agency, announced today.
In a breakdown, the electronic NODX contracted by 17.9 percent, year on year, in Dec, following the 20.2 percent decrease in the previous month. The non-electronic NODX declined by 21.3 percent, year on year, in Dec, following the 12.8 percent decrease in the previous month.
On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, Singapore’s NODX decreased by 3.3 percent in Dec, 2022, to 13.9 billion Singapore dollars (about 10.53 billion U.S. dollars), after the previous month’s 9.2 percent decline.
Overall, Singapore’s NODX grew by three percent in 2022.
Singapore’s non-oil re-exports (NORX) declined by 7.2 percent, year on year, last Dec, after the revised 4.5 percent decrease in the previous month. Both electronics and non-electronics declined in the month. Overall, NORX grew by 13.4 percent in 2022.
Singapore’s oil domestic exports expanded by 24.6 percent, year on year, in Dec, 2022, following the 9.9 percent growth in Nov.
