Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today paid tributes to three-time former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. On behalf of the Chief Adviser, his Military Secretary Major General Abul Hasnat Mohammad Tariq placed a wreath at the grave of Begum Khaleda Zia after the burial, said the Chief Adviser's Press Wing.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tribute was a mark of respect for the contributions of Begum Khaleda Zia during her tenure as Prime Minister. The wreath-laying ceremony was attended by officials and dignitaries who gathered to honor her memory.
