The Ministry of Commerce has recently organised a workshop in Kratie northeastern province to boost the Cambodia-made products in domestic and foreign markets. The workshop, held on Mar. 13 in the provincial city, was chaired by H.E. KAO Kosal, Director General of Trade Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, and H.E. SOUS SereySousdey, Deputy Governor of Kratie province, according to the Ministry of Commerce. On the occasion, H.E. KAO Kosal laid stress on the ministry's active participation in promoting Cambodia's economic growth by continuing to strengthen and expand the domestic and global markets for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cambodia and inspiring Cambodians to support, use, and promote Cambodian products to encourage Cambodian entrepreneurs to be able to compete with imported products. At the same time, he recommended the producers and traders to pay attention to brand building, quality, safety, hygiene, and packaging of products. For his part, the Kratie deputy governor underl ined his province's potential products, such as rice, corn, beans, sesame, tobacco, rubber, cashew nuts, bananas, and sugar.
