Cambodian Senate President to Visit the Republic of Korea in September

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will pay a visit to the Republic of Korea in September this year. Samdech Techo Hun Sen reconfirmed his visit when he received a courtesy call from H.E. Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do, a South Korean province, at the Senate Palace in Phnom Penh this morning. The senate president said he will attend the World Knowledge Forum in Seoul and receive an honorary doctorate degree from the Dongguk University WISE in Gyeongju city. Samdech Techo Hun Sen added that he will also meet with some Korean leaders and his old friends there to show the progress of the close relationship between Cambodia and the Republic of Korea. Samdech Techo Hun Sen stressed that the development of bilateral relations between countries depends not only on the relationship between country and country, but also on that between their leaders.
