Bangkok: The Department of Provincial Administration will provide registration and ID card services during the New Year holiday. During the New Year holiday period of 2026, from December 31, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the Department of Provincial Administration will provide registration and national ID card services to facilitate citizens who need documents for official matters or to request various forms of assistance.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Airin Panthurit, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that during the New Year holiday period of 2026, the government, through the Department of Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior, will provide registration and national identity card services to facilitate citizens who need documents for official transactions or to seek assistance in various matters. These services will be available during the holiday period from December 31, 2025, to January 4, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, to accommodate citizens who require documents for official transactions or to seek assistance during the New Year holiday period of 2025.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that local administrative officials, registrars at registration offices, and village headmen (in their capacity as village registrars) must perform their duties in receiving notifications of births or deaths should such incidents occur in their respective villages during the New Year holiday period.
