His Majesty the King Pays a Visit to China

His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, departed here this morning for a visit to China. The Cambodian monarch was seen off at Phnom Penh International Airport by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate and President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King; Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly; Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister; and many other high-ranking officials as well as royal family members. Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin was also present on the occasion. According to a royal message, during His Majesty the King's absence, Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen will act as the Acting Head of State. Source: Agence Kampuchea Presse
