A ceremony was held in the northern Lao province of Xaysomboun on June 25 to inaugurate and handover four new irrigation systems funded by non-refundable aid from the Vietnamese Government. Jointly managed by Vietnam's COECCO Economic Cooperation Corporation and Xaysomboun authorities, the project costs more than 159.2 billion VND (6.63 million USD), with the Vietnamese Government contributing over 157.2 billion VND and Laos providing the remaining funds.
