Pakistan to participate in Asian Netball

Islamabad—A 16-member Pakistan contingent will be participating in the 1st Asian Men’s Netball Championship scheduled to be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from December 9 to 11.
Talking to APP, Mudassar Razak Arain, President, Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), said the 16-member Pakistan contingent to participate in the Asian Men’s Netball Championship includes 12 players and four officials.
He said currently a training camp of the players is ongoing in Karachi and 22 players are participating in the camp.
“A total of 12 players will be finalized for the final squad,” he said.
The four officials to accompany the team in the event include umpire, physical trainer, coach and manger.
He said the countries to participate in the event include Pakistan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Brunei, Japan and Afghanistan.
“Pakistan team will hopefully depart to Malaysia on December 7,” he said.—APP
