All the policies set forth by the Royal Government are not coercive, but require the people’s participation, affirmed here this morning Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
“All of our policies are not coercive, neither the assistance programme for those in the informal economy nor the voluntary social security programme and the technical skills training programme for young people from poor and vulnerable families,” he said while presiding over the official launching ceremony of the social security scheme on health care and technical and vocational training programme for poor and vulnerable youths at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
But, the Premier continued, the important thing is that in order to have participation from the people and the youth, first they (policies) need to be disseminated clearly, and second, they need to be implemented very well and on target.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thus asked the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training to pay attention to the wide dissemination of the newly-launched programmes in all forms and images so that the people understand and take part as much as possible in carrying out the programmes.
