The Vietnam-Japan Cooperation Committee issued a joint press release on its 12th meeting co-chaired by Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and his Japanese counterpart Kamikawa Yoko in Tokyo on August 7. The meeting marked the first since both countries elevated their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World in 2023.
